My name is Lasisi Adejoke, a third-year student at Lagos State University, Nigeria. Thanks to the financial support and encouragement from The Ark of Solace Foundation, I overcame significant challenges, including school fees, to pursue my university education. The Foundation’s scholarship program has been a life-changing blessing, turning my once-distant dream into a reality.
My name is Treasure Samuel. After a devastating flood in Lagos on July 9, 2024, which destroyed our belongings, I reached out to The Ark of Solace Foundation. They provided relief that helped replace essential items, and I’m deeply grateful for their support during my time of need.
A philanthropist is someone who contributes time, money, experience, skills, or talent to create a better world. I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Olusegun Afolabi, founder of The Ark of Solace Foundation, in 2021 while serving as the School Manager of Alubarika Primary School and Chairperson of the Association of Primary School Headteachers of Nigeria (Shomolu Branch) in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Technology Skills Empowerment Programme:
Empowering 100 Nigerian youth with essential technology skills, fully funded by the Foundation.
Scholarship Awards:
20 undergraduates will receive scholarships to support their academic pursuits.
JAMB Examination Support
Funding and tutorials for 50 eligible students to prepare for the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.
Cost of Living Allowances
Providing financial relief for eligible families to help ease their daily living expenses.
